    * How can catechesis influence moral life of people?

    1. What is a moral life?
    – imitation the life of Christ.
    – humanity.
    – doing what is good- doing what is good and avoiding what is evil.
    -living the dignity. being a good person. DIGNITY OF A HUMAN PERSON. 🙂 Taking care of each other.
    -Going things that is pleasing in the eyes of God.
    – Jesus is our root in living our moral life.
    -What comes from within is what matters. (heart)

    2. How can catechesis influence moral life of people?

    Catechesis can have great influence in the life of people because it always points toward Christ. In doing catechesis it is important to look at the “person” being catechize as a child of God, loved and unrepeatable. Thus, we need to make the person feel accepted, welcomed and loved.
    Points brought up during discussion:
    – Basics (grounded in scriptures, know the person’s background)
    – Promote the sacraments, examination of conscience.
    – Be a witness

    7 elements indicated in DC 83 (discussion)
    1. Task of Catechesis of making the heart of every Christian resound to live a new life in Christ.
    2. Keeping the dignity of children of God. (grace received in Baptism)
    3. Sacraments
    4. Going back to the truth and happiness which is Christ.
    5. Instructs the believer in following the Lord…beatitudes.
    6. Simplicity –
    7. Holiness.
